Our history

The Northern Ontario Expo is a registered Not for Profit organization with over 10 volunteer board members who take care of the day to day operations making their organization the longest running hosts for comic-con style events in North Eastern Ontario and are showing no signs of slowing down and only growing in popularity.

The organization has grown from a small comic book convention attracting approx. 200 fans, into a multiple day event that attracts thousands of people from around North Eastern Ontario and beyond.

The Northern Ontario Expo was originally founded by Jason Denis while being a member of the Schumacher Lions Club back in 2011.
